Awesome cabins right by the ocean. Don’t listen to the one-star reviews here, you’ll be missing out on something great! The cabin was very big, clean and spacious. There was fast wifi, cable TV, hot water that didn’t run out when we showered and plenty of utensils and pots in the kitchen. There was plenty of towels as well, they left 6 full size towels for two guests! Coffee and tea were provided. We visited this May and the weather was cold but the cabin was nice and warm for the two nights we stayed here.
Loretta and I just recently spent four nights here in one of their efficiency units. It had own kitchen/living room overlooking the ocean with great sun sets across the bay. Bedroom was separate. A well stocked grocery store was only a mile away. Then the great shore bird area which included puffins was only eight miles away at Elliston. It all made for a great stay.
My Mom and I stayed at Oceanside cabins for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a stone throw away from the ocean! We had 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, living room, and 3 piece bathroom. Large deck, fire pit, ample seating. Our accommodation was clean, service was fantastic and we could not ask for a better location. The food and service at the restaurant was spectacular. The proximity to downtown was a 5 min. Drive. Stayed in a two bedroom cabin interior was clean, comfortable and renovated. The patio was large with a BBQ. The view from cabins patio was amazing and very relaxing listening to the surf. Food from restaurant was delicious. Close to Bonavista lighthouse wich you can tour the inside of. Large colony of Puffins live by lighthouse aswell.
Stunning view of the ocean from the cabin. Spotless and spacious with well equipped kitchen. Picnic table, barbecue right in front of each cabin. Beautiful sunset. Walk down to the shore (literally a stone’s throw) and see washed up crabs and sea urchins. Just minutes away from Bonavista lighthouse where we saw puffins up close and whales in the background. We only stayed 1 night but would love to come back for a longer period
